AAC Blocks
Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is made with fine aggregates, cement, and an expansion agent that causes the fresh mixture to rise like bread dough.
Advantages of AAC Blocks
- Buildings construed using AAC Blocks are cooler than the exteriors.
- AAC Blocks have excellent acoustic properties.
- The weight of AAC blocks is about 80% less than traditional red bricks and leads to a reduction in the use of cement and steel, thus saving costs.
